Masonville Manor Retirement Residence reached out to us in August to let us know that they had chosen HSLM as the recipient of funds raised through their various initiatives throughout the month of September.
The first fundraising initiative held was the “Pie in the Face” event, where residents could donate $2 in order to launch a plate of whipped cream at their Chef. A “Pints for Pups” event, gift basket raffle and 50/50 were also held to raise funds for the HSLM shelter pets.
The Masonville Manor residents were successful in raising and donating funds that will be used to provide ongoing care for HSLM pets, including vet services, shelter & nutritional meals.
Meghan Cocurullo, HSLM Fund Development Director, Lindsay McDermott, HSLM Capital Campaign Director along with adoptable rabbits, Ginny and Hermione, visited the residents on October 4th to accept the donated funds and speak about the New Home. New Hope. capital campaign.
