Rambo’s Miracle

We believe in miracles. After all, we see them every day.

Rambo was surrendered to our care with a large open wound on his hip, which was badly infected and required urgent care. Our history on Rambo indicated that he previously had surgery to remove a large tumor, and with his wound not healing, Rambo’s physical condition continued to worsen as the infection spread.

Thanks to donor support, our skilled partner veterinarian, and our animal health team, Rambo survived an extensive procedure to clean and securely close the open wound. Due to his prior surgery, Rambo had little skin left to close the wound, which presented a challenge.

With care and perseverance, today Rambo has progressed past the point of critical concern, and is well on his way to making a full recovery!

Miracles such as Rambo’s can’t happen without gifts from people like you. With 200 animals needing support, each with their own story, we turn to you for help.

Will you help provide miracles for vulnerable animals like Rambo who need you?
