Meet Trixie.
This sweet girl is in need of a foster home while our Animal Health Department further examines the sores on her legs and paw. The shelter environment has become a major stress factor for Trixie, and even though our staff members and volunteers do their very best to help her feel more comfortable, it simply isn’t enough. Trixie needs to be in a home with a loving foster companion.
If there is one thing you need to know about Trixie, is that she’s a big lovebug. She wants all your attention and will soak up any cuddles and affection you have to offer. She has previously lived with younger children and did well, so she would be fine to go to a foster home with kids. However, Trixie would be best as the only pet in the house.
If you choose to foster Trixie, please know that HSLM will support you along the way. We will make sure to send you home with all her necessities, including food, favourite toys, medication, beds and blankets. We will be in regular communication with you to see how Trixie is adapting, and answer any questions you may have throughout your foster experience. Our goal is to try and make this process as easy as we can for you. We are here for you on this journey.
